County Road 22 Closed Oct 13-16

Due to road repairs, County Road 22 (Yolo Bypass section, parallel to I-5), from the Woodland city limits to the northbound ramp of I-5, will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday October 13 to October 16.  The road will reopen for travel after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16.  Detour signs will direct motorists to I-5.

The County Road 99 (West Street) bridge over Interstate 5, located north of Woodland, will be closed from Monday, September 29, through Friday, October 10, due to Caltrans bridge maintenance activities.  Caltrans’ contractors, Truesdell Corporation and Valentine Corporation, will be performing the maintenance work.

Southbound Interstate 5 motorists that use the West Street exit will not be allowed to turn north during the bridge closure.  Northbound Interstate 5 motorists that use the West Street exit will not be allowed to turn south (toward Woodland) during the bridge closure.

County Road 32B (Chiles Road) Roadwork September 8 to October 14

Roadwork on County Road (CR) 32B (Chiles Road in Davis) from the eastern Davis city limit to CR 32A will be conducted from September 8 to October 14, with periodic closures to through traffic during this timeframe.

This rehabilitation project will increase the strength of the pavement section, reduce maintenance expenditures and improve conditions for motorists.

The contractor will temporarily close portions of CR 32B to through traffic in two non-concurrent phases, each expected to last approximately two weeks.  The Stage 1 closure will be between the Davis city limit and the west side of the Yolo Fruit Stand driveway.  The Stage 2 closure will be on the east side of the eastbound I-80 ramps to the end of the project at CR32A.
