Plug-In Ceremony February 10

Yolo County and the City of Woodland will be celebrating the installation of electric vehicle charging stations in downtown Woodland with a Plug-In Ceremony on February 10 at noon in the City of Woodland municipal parking lot, located directly across from City Hall at 300 First Street in Woodland.

The Yolo County-City of Woodland Workplace Charging Partnership was made possible through a $15,000 Clean Air Fund grant award from the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District and with county matching funds.  The installation of these stations addresses a growing need for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Yolo County, while contributing to the climate action goals of both agencies.  By expanding the regional network of convenient electric vehicle charging opportunities, the partnership hopes to promote reductions in greenhouse gas production in the region.
