NBA Board of Governors makes decision regarding Sacramento Kings home

BREAKING NEWS: News10 reports that the NBA Board of Governors has voted down the relocation of the Kings to Seattle. The vote was 22 to 8.

News10 covered the press conference in Dallas this afternoon on-air and online.

Commissioner David Stern stated at the press conference that he will help to faciliate the transferring of the ownership of the Maloofs to the Sacramento Group with Vivek Ranadivé in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Graduate programs get high national rankings

Graduate programs at the University of California, Davis, showed continued strong performance in this year's U.S. News & World Report rankings, with several programs in the social sciences and humanities, engineering and School of Medicine ranking among the top 20 in the nation.

The temperature may be hot, but the competition is going to be even HOTTER!

Sacramento Suns bring the first ever Australian Rules Football Tournament to the Sacramento region! 

Participating teams include the Sacramento Suns (men & women), Denver Bulldogs, Golden Gate Roos, Las Vegas Gamblers and the San Francisco Iron Maidens.

Australian Rules Football, also known as “Aussie Rules” or “Footy”, is a full-contact sport played without helmets or pads.  It is not rugby, soccer or any other sport.  Players kick or handball the ball (also known as footy) towards the goal to score.  It is the most popular sport in Australia, dating back 150 years.  Aussie Rules is the third largest spectator sport in the world.

This is a free event and opens to the public!
