Have you thought about becoming a foster parent or adopting a local child who needs a permanent home?  Did you know each year loving families within the communities of Yolo County are needed for over a hundred abused and neglected children? 

We invite you to attend a free introduction on foster care and adoption from foster care in Yolo County.  Two sessions are set from 6 to 8:00 pm, first in Woodland on Thursday October 25th at Woodland Community College in Building 700, Room 727 and again in West Sacramento on Monday October 29th at the Arthur Turner Library at 1212 Merkley Avenue in their Community Room.   This is a great opportunity to meet several foster parents will share their foster to adoption journey and you will meet Cherie Schroeder, Foster & Kinship Care Education Instructional Specialist.
