Residents displaced in Davis apt. complex fire | News

DAVIS, CA - A fire at an apartment complex in Davis has left some residents without homes as of Monday afternoon.

The three-alarm blaze was at University Court Apartments on Sycamore Lane.

No one was hurt but because of heavy smoke, one resident who lived on the third floor required rescuing, according to Davis Fire Department personnel on scene.

The complex is home to mostly UC Davis students. Flames and other damage left six apartments uninhabitable, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
