WOODLAND, CA - Police are seeking two men accused of robbing a Woodland homeowner at gunpoint on Monday.

Sgt. Steve Guthrie of the Woodland Police Dept. said officers responded to a report of a woman yelling for help from her apartment on the 1700 block of Sixth St. around 11:00 p.m.

The woman informed police she was in her apartment when two men, let in by another individual, withdrew a handgun and demanded property, cash and medical marijuana, Guthrie said.

The two men fled the scene following the robbery.

One of the suspected robbers was described as a black man, about 24 years old, 5'8" tall, weighing 165 pounds. He had short black hair with sideburns and was last seen wearing a red tee shirt. Guthrie said the man also had a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

The other individual was described as a black man with a light complexion, approximately 27 years old, 6'1" tall, weighing 200 pounds. He had braided hair and was last seen wearing a purple and white striped collared shirt.

Anyone with information on the incident or the men's whereabouts was encouraged to contact Woodland police.
