FAIRFIELD, CA - Fairfield police identified three suspects in connection to Tuesday's double homicide.

No bail arrest warrants for homicide were issued Friday for Blake Johnson, 21, of Vallejo, Darren Trahan, 21, of East Palo Alto, and Marcel Rutherford-Chew, 18, of Redwood City, Fairfield police officer Cleo Mayoral said.

The men are suspected of shooting and killing Vedell Jamar Chew, 24, and Bernard Francis Knight, 18, who were found dead outside of a Fairfield home Tuesday, Mayoral said.

The shooting happened on the 70 block of El Toro Court around 4:58 p.m., outside of the Parkway Gardens complex, which normally has an armed guard because of past problems.

However, security guards were off duty during the shooting.
Mayoral said police are searching for the suspects throughout the region and in the Bay area.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to call the Fairfield Police Department Investigations Bureau at (707) 428-7600, the 24-hour Tip Line at (707) 428-7345 or Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867.
