14 vehicles vandalized in Woodland tire-slashing spree | Crime

WOODLAND, Calif. - Woodland residents leaving for work Friday morning were greeted by a most infuriating sight.
According to Sergeant Steve Guthrie of the Woodland Police Dept., officers were called to the area of Cross St. and Fourth St. around 6:20 a.m. in response to a report of vehicles with slashed tires. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a total of 14 vehicles with one or more slashed tires.
Guthrie said the total damage was estimated at $7,000.
