Robber targets Woodland woman using walker

WOODLAND, CA - Woodland police hope there is store surveillance camera images of the person who used the stolen credit cards of an 81-year-old woman who was robbed Sunday.

The woman, who uses a walker, had her wallet in a compartment of the walker on the 400 block of Ashley Avenue at 11:15 a.m. when she was pushed by a man she passed, shoe told officer. The man then reached around her to grab the wallet and flee, she said.

The woman wasn't hurt.

The woman's stolen credit cards were then reported being used around town.

The victim described the robber as black, about 30 years old and wearing a black beanie, tan jacket and blue jeans.
