Man found injured on Fairfield street is hit, run crash victim | Crime

FAIRFIELD, CA - A man found badly injured on a Fairfield street Saturday morning is believed to be a victim of a hit-and-run crash.

The man, Dennis Rodriguez, 34, was found by a driver on the 1200 block of Texas Street around 2:15 a.m., Fairfield police Lt. Greg Hurlbut said.

Rodriguez suffered major facial injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Hurlbut said the man's injuries were consistent with a hit-and-run crash.

Police released a picture of the suspect vehicle, which shows a 4-door sedan.
