Dixon resident thwarts home invasion with pepper spray | Crime

DIXON, CA - Dixon police say four masked individuals, two of them armed with "long" guns, attempted to force their way into a house on the 300 block of N. Second Street just before 4:56 a.m.
The 55-year-old resident warded them off with pepper spray and the would be-intruders fled.
The victim did not see the make of the individuals' vehicle.
The resident wasn't hurt. Police do not know the motive for the attempted home invasion.
