Attempted abduction of boy reported in Davis | Crime

DAVIS, CA - A man and a woman tried to talk a boy into their vehicle Thursday afternoon, say Davis police.

The incident took place a little after 1 p.m. on Halcyon Place, said Lt. Paul Doroshov. Officers were told an 11-year-old boy told a neighbor that the man and woman pulled up in a green,full-sized van and asked him if he would get inside. The boy rode away on his bicycle and the pair followed him for a short distance before driving away.

The man and woman were only described as in their 60s.
